| The Middletown Lions Club invited District Governor Rosemarie Townend, and 1st VDG Michael Marrazzo, for an Official Visit on July 13, 2010, at Jacques Reception Center in Middletown, NJ. During the visit, DG Rosemarie Townend expressed gratitude to the Middletown Lions for their warm reception, and recognized King Lion James Guerrieri, Secretary John Giordano, and Treasurer Robert Guijarro, with a presentation of individual gifts for their exemplary performance of official duties. DG Rosemarie also recognized and "pinned" PP Beverly Bova-Scarranno with an official Zone Chair Pin. Lion Beverly had an outstanding year as King Lion last year, and looks forward to her new role as Zone #1(Shore Area) Chairperson this year. The Middletown Lions also presented a High School Scholarship Award to Joshua Thomas, a recent graduate of Middletown High School South. Mr. Thomas will attend the Rutgers School of Engineering this coming Fall. Congratulations and Best Wishes to All! |
