-Thur, Dec 7 – The Hackensack Lions Club is celebrating its 90th Anniversary- at 6pm at the Picco Tavern - 6pm -  160 Prospect Avenue, Hackensack, NJ  - tickets are $70.00 each.  If anyone is interested in attending the event they can contact Amy Guggino at mirjo1@msn.com or call at 201-487-0311.

-Sat, Dec 9 -The Chester Lions Club invites children from the community- to enjoy an afternoon full of magic and merriment at their annual Lunch with Santa Two seatings at 11:30 a.m. & 1:30 p.m. are offered.  Event will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church located at 220 Main St., Chester, NJ.  Children will be treated to a pizza lunch, complete with chips, cookies, and drinks. After that, there will be a magic show followed by the main attraction -- pictures with Santa and his elves.  Pictures will be taken and distributed by the Chester Lions Club. - FREE for children ages 10 and under.
