May 5th and May 6th!- Spring Work Weekend at Camp Marcella

CM_work_weekend_2011_1

Yes, fellow Lions it’s that time again! The calendar may still say it is winter but summer camp sessions are just around the corner  and once again, it’s clean up and fix-up time at Camp Marcella! Saturday, May 5th and Sunday, May 6th are the dates scheduled for the Spring Work Weekend at Camp Marcella!

CM_work_weekend_2011_2All Lions and Leos clubs, as well as families and friends, are welcome to join us in getting the camp ready for the upcoming season!   Workdays and Work Weekends have been a tradition at Camp Marcella for many years-with many clubs taking on the responsibility of a cabin or project on a continuing basis.  It is the support of these clubs through their continued maintenance of their cabins and projects that enables us to continue to provide such a  premier facility as CampCM_work_weekend_2011_3 Marcella!

We would like to thank those Lions  Clubs who continue to maintain their cabins and projects…. with a special thanks to the Leos Clubs who give their time and efforts in working at the camp! Their interest and desire to support the Camp is phenomenal!

Cash donations are always welcomed at Camp Marcella-but please keep in  mind that “Sweat Equity” is appreciated as well!  We are always in need of a plumber, an electrician, a mason, a handyman, etc.  who could donate their time to Camp Marcella!!

Clubs and individuals who are not available on the scheduled workdays are invited to contact President Michael Pacala  at 201-933-8550 or via e-mail: pactool@aol.com to arrange a work session on an un-scheduled date.

Create a Free Web Site for Your Club

If you’re looking for a free and easy way to create a Web site for your Lions club, the e-Clubhouse is for you!

LionNET is proud to provide this resource to help Lions Clubs around the world build a useful, professional looking Web site. Designed with fill-in-the blank fields for even the least Internet savvy, the e-Clubhouse allows you to:

LionNet (www.lionnet.com) is a voluntary cooperation network of Internet services of the Lions Clubs International. The Lions Clubs International is the world's biggest service association, with over 1.4 million members in 182 countries and geographic areas. A great number of Lions clubs, districts and multidistricts have opened their own services on the Internet using World Wide Web.

Without proper coordination and cooperation these would be just isolated islands on the Internet. LionNet is a voluntary network of these web services, bringing crosslinking, structure and hierarchy to the Lions net.
